-- Miss Stella Hill, one of the most charming and popular young ladies of Waynetown died on Thursday at Elwood of diphtheria. She has many friends here who will be both surprised and pained to learn of her sad and untimely death. Two more of George Hill's children are not expected to live. An aunt from Elwood was here two weeks ago and brought the disease. The aunt had a child die a few days before coming here. --kbz

Miss Stella Hill, one of the most charming and popular young ladies of Waynetown, died this morning at Elwood of diphtheria. She has many friends here who will be both surprised and pained to learn of her sad and untimely death. Two more of Geo. Hill’s children are not expected to live.
